UWIC - Cardiff's Metropolitan University, has housed the Cardiff School of Management in a superb new building on the Llandaff campus.
The new building boasts five new lecture theatres including this 250 seater with three projectors. All the theatres include AMX touchscreen control systems.
There is a control room beside the large theatre so presentations can be run by a technician when required, using another Modero touch panel.
Throughout the building all the audio-visual facilities are linked to a networked AMX Classroom Management System so AV technicians can spot problems before the users. The Classroom Manager even allows operators to take remote control over the AV in a room when needed..
The atrium coffee shop area has an audio system integrated with the Hospitality Suite and controlled using a ClearOne audio matrix mixer and an AMX touchscreen interface.
There are also another twentyfour teaching rooms with very simple four button control panels. These rooms are also linked to the Classroom Manager so the AV staff will get an early warning before the lamps fail in the projectors.
